Characteristics
Ekovet is a one sided paper strip for detecting and monitoring synanthropic moths of the family Pyralidae: Meal moth (Pyralis farinalis), Mediterranean flour moth (Ephestia kuehniella), Warehouse moth (Ephestia elutella), Almond moth (Cadra cautella), Indian mealmoth (Plodia interpunctella) and Rice moth (Corcyra cephalonica).
Active substances
Synthetic sexual pheromone of female moths and food ingredient.
Application
One strip per 150 m3 is recommended in mill and bakery buildings. One strip per 200 m3 should be exposed in other enterprises and warehouses. In stores and households, apply 1 – 2 strips in one room up to 100 m3. In case of a calamitous occurrence, the quantity of strips must be increased according to needs.
Instructions for use
Remove plastic wrap and peel off protective paper from sticky base. Ekovet needs to be hung up on a hook or placed horizontally to an area with minimum airflow.
In case of a positive result of using the product, it is necessary to proceed with the elimination of target organism with the help of a professional disinsection company.

Exposure time
The onset of effect comes within 24 – 48 hours. The exposure time is 2 – 3 weeks. In areas exposed to dust or in case of quick filling with moths, the displayed strip must be changed more frequently (after 1 week).
Health and Safety requirements
Ekovet adhesive strip is a highly effective and species-selective, environment-friendly, non-toxic and odourless product. It has no negative impact on non-target animals or humans. When manipulating with Ekovet, no special safety measures have to be taken. It is necessary to respect basic hygiene rules: refrain from smoking, eating or drinking at work and wash hands after handling strips. In case of contact with the surface, remove glue with benzine.
Waste disposal
Municipal waste or disposal by incineration.
Storage and Packaging, Dispatch, Size
The product must be stored in a dry place, up to 20°C, in its original packaging. The expiry date can be found on the protective foil. Size of unwrapped strip: 200 mm x 80 mm. Each piece is packed separately in a plastic wrap. 50 pcs per pack, 2500 pcs per carton. Carton size: 280 x 490 x 270 mm. Approximate weight per 1000 pcs: 10 kg.
